Nikon wins big at the 2015 TIPA awards with accolades for the D810, D5500 and COOLPIX P610

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 9 April 2015 – Nikon today announced that three of its products have won accolades in the 2015 TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) Awards.

TIPA, a global organisation represented by photo and imaging worldwide magazines, has given the prize for ‘Best Professional DSLR’ to the Nikon D810, ‘Best Entry Level DSLR’ to the Nikon D5500 and ‘Best Superzoom Camera’ to the Nikon COOLPIX P610.

The awards are chosen by editors from 27 photographic magazines across 16 countries worldwide and are given to products that the jury rates most highly in terms of overall quality, performance and benefit for the defined end-user. Specifically, TIPA editors take into account innovation, the use of leading-edge technology, design and ergonomics, ease-of-use, and the ratio of price to performance.
